I'm Cecilia Lipovsek
During the last decade, I have had a privileged front-row seat at the British-LatAm table, having interpreted for royalty, presidents, vice-presidents, governors, ministers and secretaries of state, and countless experts, scholars, artists, and Nobel laureates amounting to over 100 visiting Latin American delegations to the United Kingdom and 6500+ British and Latin American government officials, business owners, and professionals from all sectors.
Over time, I began noticing patterns emerging with every question asked, cultural faux pas made (or avoided), and bond strengthened. This in between where both sides meet and dance with each other is full of small details that speak volumes. Personally, I find it utterly fascinating and I am very glad to finally put pen to paper and share my decade of ‘field notes’ with you.
